  Jehovah's people are not happy people

  i finally stopped attending the meetings about 4 months go.

  i won't be going back - ever.. but i've decided the best reply to the watchtower is to be happy and i do try to be happy every day even thought i wasted my entire life on this religion.

  i cherish every day, practice mindfulness and do my best to be content with the life i have.. it is only now that i see that most jws i know are deeply unhappy people.

  Yeah they still gave the baptism talk. The same Satan will tempt you and you are now in a very vulnerable spiritual state now story. And of course a vow is a vow.

  I remember a few times at our special day assembly they would still give the baptism talk even if nobody was getting baptised.

  This is a bit of a challenge. I think there are some good and creative ideas mentioned here on how to get the word out. There are still too many getting baptized from the public. Especially in the States and in developing countries.

  You make a really good point John. I think people might care more since there are a lot more people who have a relative that's JW. Family break ups might hit home to more than stories about Scientology.

  Thanks a lot guys for your input. I want to figure out a way to get the general public to take notice. I think their opinion can help make changes to Watchtowers policies. A louder voice for change.

  I would like to sneak into an assembly and record the baptism. See how many that are getting baptized are either new converts or born in jdubs.
